Apparently, you can recieve mail not only from Mailtoad in the game, but a letter is also sent to your Wii as well... from Mailtoad. So far, I got messages about Luigi gone missing and then a response message about Mailtoad giving thanks after you find Luigi and rescue him.

I know. I like when peach gives you letters. they hold 5 1-ups.
