DVD censorship is getting out of hand. Apparently Ernie and Bert living together, a diabetes-headed Cookie Monster, and a depressed Oscar are too much for today's preschoolers. This is just outrageous to the max. So does that mean whoever grew up on THESE episodes of Sesame Street were corrupted from youth because of these HARSH situations in the show?

Where the hell is this world going to?

Eh, that's what you get, when you live in a generation that is more strict, Frannie. I use the term "Frannie," to refer to Fran Sinclair of Dinosaurs, another Jim Henson show that aired on Prime Time, on ABC. I have the complete series, and it was really mundane, and pretty good. There was one episode that was cut from syndication, appropriately titled "What Sexual Harris Meant," which dealt with Sexual Harrassment at work.

I don't know, but whatever it is, they obviously need to put a stop to it, so that wholesome folk need to live. I mean, Family Guy even depicted Cookie Monster in rehab!

So wait, are you WITH or AGAINST the censoring?

Oh, and that Family Guy episode was hilarious.

Adults need to stop trying to turn their kids perfect and completely unaware of anything bad in society. It used to be that cartoons were full of shooting guns, smoking cigars, etc. Now you can't even see a depressed character on TV, or somebody who eats too many cookies, or have a building that's in poor conditions. And seriously, why ADULT ONLY? There's no blood, no violence, no swear words, hardly anything bad in it. They should at least rate it ages 10 and up or something like that.

I'm probably against the censoring, but I never really could think about getting a copy of the original Sesame Street.

Hey, let's protect the kids from problems by pretending they don't exist, instead of teaching them about how to avoid them!
Smart.

This is what happens when people try too hard to protect kids.

This is so stupid, They are basically trying to make a utopian race of humans where there are no wars, gangs, or any other crap that involves murder, while in another country, they are teaching kids to use guns. Which country wins? the one with the guns
