You have to be very close to the little cloud of dust they make, then spin. If done correctly, the will emerge from the ground. Hit them with a spin again, and they'll release a huge amount of star bits. |

Don't try it on the ones at the beginning of the Gusty Garden Galaxy, for me they took an insanely long time to kill. The planet is just shaped really weird. |
