Hello, and Welcome to my story. It may be kinda short, but it doesn't matter, this is based on a true story, and I was like 12 when this happened. This is a story that takes place in Fontana, and Nevada. (Las Vegas for more specific). Yes, it is indeed, a sad story. In that time, I have been seeing many car crashes, and I was a victim of one as well. So grab your pop - corn, and Enjoy the story!

STORY

Along time ago, a boy named "Sam" (Larry Koopa xD) and his family, lived in California, and all Sam was doing was using the computer, and playing video games. But one day, when He was playing Gears of War, a call came from his dad, and he suddenly felt that something was wrong.. and when he heard his Mom sigh, He somehow knew it was a Car accident. His brother "Stephen" (also Spartan-117 in digibutter) said, "What Happened" and Sam told him, "A Car crash." After their Mom finished talking, she said that their dad has crashed very badly, and the car got totaled. What was funny was, Sam was waiting for his Dad to come home, because it was 4:32 PM, and his Dad usually comes around at that time. So, they quickly got dressed and fled with their Jeep to the scene, which wasn't to far to the house. Once they arrived, they could see their car. After their Mom got out of the vehicle, Sam and Stephen were only left to see what motions go on.. Apparently, The man who crashed their father was a Mexican, (this is California, lot of illegals coming) and he did not have a drivers license. Sam's father kept explaining about how the driver without drivers license ran the red, but a hoard of witnesses agreed and disagreed. Leaving the police with no choice, but to have them both pay the same price. After that 2 hours of complaining, They finally went home, and was searching for a new car.. a few months later they found a new car, and it was a Toyota Camry. After 1 whole year, they have started to see more, and more accidents occur. about 5 accidents in 4 months. by March, It was Sam's Mom and Dad's Anniversary, but they didn't want to tell their kids, where they were going, because it was a surprise. After driving around in Barstow, Sam got a new Canon camera, and started taking pictures. Then he noticed that they traveled farther and farther.. and once they reached the "World's Largest Thermometers" they were disappointed and said, "Lets go home" but of course they were kidding. after 1 more hour of driving, Not knowing where they were going, Their parents finally decided to give them the first hint. The hint was, "This place is known for Large buffets", Sam and Stephen still didn't know where they were going, into they saw the sign..."Fabulous Las Vegas"! They were shocked, because their parents always called it "Sin City", but after a while they got used of it, seen some roller coasters, buildings, casinos, lions, and...the lights! but their were allot of inappropriate stuff to.. like Homeless', people giving away free naked chick cards, and naked girls all over the walls, and advertisements of half naked girls. at around 5:00 PM, they decided to stay at a buffet, Dad promised them to give them a Starbucks, so thats one thing they've been waiting for. But they did not know, that, that Starbucks. could save there lives.. After 2 hours of staying in the Buffet, they left and it was 7:00 PM, after a few minutes, they decided to leave at 7:40. It was time for them to go to Starbucks, but the kids kept saying that there was one at the MGM Grand, but their father didn't listen. It was 7:45, and they arrived at some place with allot of stores.. Dad said, "There's got to be a Starbucks in here". They turned, and looked all around, but surprisingly, there was no Starbucks. But all this was meant for a reason as well. Dad said, "What should we do?" then Mom replied, "We should just go home" but, Sam said, "You promised a starbucks though!" then Dad went inside the mall nearby and asked a worker, "Do you know where the nearest starbucks is?" She said, "there is none here, but there is one, two miles from here. going west, and there is another one going east, which is in the city" After a few 5 minutes talk, Sam was getting mad, because they were taking long. Dad said, "when do they close?" (it was 7:50). the lady said, "I think they close at 8:00, I'm not sure though." So, they quickly got out of there and drove to the one West, because they didn't want to go back to the City, and they found the starbucks at 7:58. Sam's Dad asked some guy if they were opened, and the guy said that He thinks so, because he saw people in there. So Sam's Dad went in, and sure enough. They were opened. "Thank God!" Sam said. "We came just in time! everything is coming right on time!" after they got there starbucks, they were heading home! which was about 100 and so miles. after an hour, Sam was asleep. But then, he opened his eyes, and was barley awake, and saw smoke. "Mom! theres smoke over there!" Sam said, Mom said it looked bad, about 2 minutes later.. they arrived at the scene. 3 cars, in the dirt. all messed up, a Crash the family never seen before. there were pieces of cars all over the street, and two cars were smoking, and the other one was on fire. Right when we arrived at the scene, we barely heard the ambulance. and Sam's Dad said, "Wow, this happened, like 5 minutes ago, because the ambulance barely came" they saw some guy reaching for something underneath the car, and there was a cloth there on fire. There was also a little kid crying, Sam thought someone was stuck in the car, but then they left the scene. then they thought, If they never went to starbucks, or to look for one, they would of defenitly would of got evolved in the crash. Every minute counted.....

Once back home, they slept over it, and a few days later. They founded out that a DUI was driving on the wrong side of the road, clipping one car into the other. Sadly, they found out that a 16 year old girl and her Dad died at the crash. What was more sad was that her brother was very sad, because they always sat next to each other, but they got in a fight, so they sat away from each other that same day she died. and now, he cant say that hes sorry or anything. shes gone, done, vanished. After hearing all that, Sam's family was thinking of how lucky they were. because if they never went looking for a starbucks, they would of defenitly been in that crash. and could of died.
