Get avast! antivirus. It's free, and it's pretty good.

Don't worry Slim, there is hope. There are three programs that I recommend that you get, I also use them myself and they have been effective.

McAffe Anti Virus- It's a very good anti-virus program, and from experience, it has kept all viruses out. If a virus, worm, etc, get to your computer, McAffe will automatically detect it, and delete it on the spot. I bought the McAffe Internet Security Suite. It has 10 features in one McAffe, that will help run your computer. The viruses have reduced on my computer a lot. It's worth it, to pay for McAfee. AdSubtract PRO- A great pop-up and ad blocker. Easy to use program: quick filtering options, quick cookies and clean up, and many more. Since, the day I started using it, I had no pop-ups or ads. Spybot - Search & Destroy- Detects and removes spyware. A great product to have to supplement your virus program. Sometimes detects things that are not found by the virus program.
