This is one of two games made for the Looney Tunes. The other one, a Wii game, was Acme Arsenal. Oh, yeah. Duck Amuck is a DS exclusive.
Story: 6/10. It's okay, but not quite as epic as SPM or SMG. Basically, the game is based off of a 1970s cartoon. The point of the game is to torment Daffy Duck with various minigames (called gags, coincidentally) until he flips out.
Graphics: 8.5/10. Not quite as mind-blowing as Corruption (which I've actually never played) or SMG, but still good. The on-the-fly ink-and-paint look is carried out really well, and a few minigames let you redraw parts of Daffy but you can leave it blank for a real laugh.
Gameplay: 9.5/10. Most of the games are stylus-based, like Yoshi's Island DS. You can do nearly any action with the stylus, from slicing Daffy to redrawing him to painting a background. In one game, even Daffy gets his own stylus!
Sounds: 10/10. The dialogue, sound effects, and music are so believable and true to the Looney Tunes series.
Variety: OVER 9000!/10. You couldn't get a more varied collection of minigames oriented around making Daffy mad.
Overall score (rounding variety score down to 10): 9.4/10. |
