OBVIOUS SPOILERS!
Discuss it here. I think it was one of the best Sonic games. With the story, the music, the sound effects, the art, everything. I personally believe it had one of the best story in a Sonic game in history. I mean, COME ON! Was there EVEN a story to the first Sonic game? Not that I know of.
Spoiler: Even when Shadow dies, in the next game, he's back. So there must be a specific order in the games, Sonic adventure 2 being the last, because Shadow dies. Or maybe some of the origional ones, because Shadow's not even in it. I will some day find out the actual story order these games go in...

Well, I don't think Shadow actually died. He just slept a long time, and everyone thought he was dead. |

...what the hell are you guys talking about. Shadow doesn't die he falls to earth. He then has amnesia and doesn't remember his past. Then he finds all these shadow robots and thinks he might be a clone or some bull****. He meets this alien named black doom and in exchange for 7 chaos emeralds he reveals to shadow his past. Shadow was created to be the ultimate life form 50 years before the start of the sonic series. He was created from Black Dooms DNA, which is why hes so strong. The government attacks the Ark (spaceship where he was made) and he is ejected out of a pod down to earth. Before he is ejected he sees his best friend maria get shot and it traumatizes him. Dr eggman finds and awakens him (at the beginning of SA2b) |

Shadow did die. But then, because he had so many rabbid fanboys, Sega said "screw continuity", and brought him back to life. Honestly, I would have preferred if they had kept the conclusion to the dark team ending in Sonic Heroes canon...Shadow being a clone/android/whatever > LOLZ EGGMAN'S ROBOT SAVED HIM |

The last Sonic vs. Shadow fight rocked. It was fun to run on an endless floating road thing and fight someone at the same time. |

But- But- BUT! He went into that weird portal thing and asked out loud if he had kept his promice. Why Sonic didn't fly down and save him, I don't know. |
