Google claims that all their ads are "family-safe"... whatever that means. |

I'm not American, but I believe I speak for all of us when I say go crawl in a hole and die. I can understand wanting to take it down because it's not very... family-friendly, but saying "bawwww all American children are stupid because they play bad M-rated games" is retarded.
Besides, it's actually a really good game, and I can imagine the creators didn't want it to be overrun by 8-year-olds. |

I was actually kidding. I play video games myself 24/7 and I don't think they make people retarded. Except if they are already pretty screwed up in the noggin. But too many (and in the clichè american) children are gullible and will adapt what they see in the games into their view of reality, to a lesser or greater degree. I believe video games can alter your perception of your life and how to treat people, etc, and I do tihnk that ratings are there for a reason and should at least be taken seriously but not as the word of god.
Also (rising to sound like one of the douchebags on the "concerned parent" forums) I don't think we should congratulate the drug dealers by making them the heroes of a video game that, as I mentioned, gullible children play because they think it's cool to play M-rated games. |
