While messing around in the observatory, I found 3 things:
1: It looks awesome when you activate every extra galaxy (the luma's outside the domes)
2: You can use the red star to fly to the Sweet Sweet galaxy and Sand Spiral galaxy, you don't have to use the luma launch-star!
3: If you fly above Sweet Sweet galaxy, don't press the Z button!
You will fall into the galaxy, the screen will turn white, and then...
NOTHING HAPPENS! Oh the horror! Your game will lock up.*
All the other galaxies are out of reach.
*This has been tried and tested on a PAL version of Mario Galaxy, if it doesn't work, you probably live in America or Japan or something. |

After some more research (read: randomly dicking around) with the fly powerup, I noticed you can use it to fall down way further than usual.
Normally when you fall of the observatory, you get caught almost immediatly after you leave the platform, but when you fly down, you go down faaaaaaaaaar. |

What does locked up mean? Does the game just freeze and you have to turn off the Wii and turn the Wii back on and then start from when you last saved? |

You can't even access the home menu when it locks up, you have to either reset or turn of your Wii completely. |

but only once, and I never made it again. |
