Yay, another anime obsession. xD;
So, basically, Princess Tutu is an anime about a series of people with magical counterparts in an old fairy tale. There's Mytho/the Prince, who lost his heart in the battle with the Demon Raven; Ahiru/Tutu, an enchanted duck-girl who turns into a fairy princess to reclaim the pieces of Mytho's heart; Fakir/the Knight, the prince's friend who is trying to protect him from the negative emotions by keeping his heart shattered; and Rue/Kraehe, the daughter of the Demon Raven who is trying to manipulate Mytho and his heart into her clutches.
For such a light-styled anime (the ballet and fairy tales and all), it's surprisingly deep and emotional...
Anyone else watch it? Or read it (fun fact: the manga was actually spun off from the anime...yes, I need a life >_> )? |
