Anime hurts my BRAIN.
I swear, with all the traps and girly boys out there, it's not a surprise that most anime viewers are sexually confused. I'm trying to stay away from it until I can seriously deal with the hormones in my head.
But really, I know that not all anime is about a boy with an insanely high voice in a freaking MINISKIRT chasing after giant enemy crabs robots, but it seems like it. A lot of anime girls are... well, they're cute, and I'd rather not be turned into a raging pedophile either because of how sexy adult they make the LITTLE TEN YEAR OLD GIRLS look.
And even if there is an Anime without ANY of this... there's still the horrible plotlines, and amazingly dull monologues. There aren't enough one liners, and the few one liners there are are boring. They sit around talking about their opponents and strategies for half an hour, then fight for five minutes, then talk about friendship until the episode is over. It's really just not worth watching.
Please, don't seriously deny this. I watched an episode of deathnote. That one kid was narrating his entire *crag* life for half the episode. He was so dramatic it was almost FUNNY. "And then... I'll USE MY OTHER HAND TO EAT A CHIP"
So anyway, yeah, those are my reasons.

Most anime is either dull or cliche.
But every so often, there's an anime that gets it right, such as the aforementioned Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo.
And I'm not going to comment on the whole 10 year old girl thing. I'm already viewed as a raging pedo. |

In all seriousness, I see it like any other TV show. If it's good, then it's worth watching. If it's not good, then I don't care.

They're all similar, though. It's as if they're all a single genre... action-drama. There is no other type of anime that I have seen, besides the bo. |

I like action-drama.
But you have legit reasons for disliking anime. At least you don't go into every anime topic and say "ANIME SUCKS".

I honestly prefer cartoons over anime, but I like a little action-drama once in a while.
I always assumed you just hated anime because of the fans, or for the sake of being different. (As most people who hate anime do.) But you have some good reasons.
