PS1 pwns PS2 and 3.
The games were better ;~; Too bad the games for PS2 and 3 are not as good as the ones on PS1. Good ol' days.

becasue teh 2 had as many good games as 1, but also backwards compatibility. The PS3 has backwards compatibility, but It still costs too much. |

Actually, you have to buy a crappy fiddly add-on to play PS2 games on the PS3 |
Then it's even worse. I already thought it sucked.

Yup, there is the 600$ PS3, with 60Gb and PS2 games playable, and the 300$ version with 40Gb, and without PS2 mode.
Edit: I forgot to say that PS3 has no rumble function, yet. |

Sorry but I found the PS1 to be unplayable. The graphics hurt my eyes as I strained to make out what a jumble of polygons were supposed to be. The textures were a blocky pixelated mess. Load times were criminal. And the controller had no analog stick.
IMO, if the N64 had a CD-ROM drive, the PS1 would have died an early death. (Cinematic games would not have been forced to be on PS1) |

Add on for the PS3 to play PS2 games? Tell that to my PS3. It plays PS2 games whenever I want it too. (Of course, that only consists of ToL and TotA) |

The PS3 is one of the BEST systems ever made, but the price and lack of quality games mean it's not worth it. Those two reasons lead to me never owning a Sony product. They're overpriced, and have crappy games. |

overpriced+no good games=horrible regardless of actual capabilities. |
