I always call the internet the "internets." That's pretty much it.

In the middle of lunch, the day after 300 came out and the day after I saw it, I slammed my fists on the table, stood up and screamed "THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" in front of everyone.
I got a few laughs, but most seemed to think I was going to pull out an uzi or something.

I've never really used any internet terms irl. Most people I know, probably wouldn't get it. Besides, I think most internet terms are better left online, as they'd probably sound weird irl (i.e.: PWN, n00b, etc.)
