Well, I got an extra copy of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops with Portable Ops PLUS this christmas, and I took it to get exchanged for something else yesterday. I was looking around, and I saw Hitman: Trilogy for $30.00. Since Portable Ops has been out for a while and doesn't have much replayability (since people hack'd the online mode), I was expected to get a lot less for it than I originally would've.

Portable Ops, a single PSP game, cost more than 3 award-winning PS2 games. I know, because I got change back.

So, I ask you all... Are people really that desperate to sell really good last-gen games?!

People at games shops have NO CLUE how we work. They think just because a new console is out, last-gen games are worthless.

I guess that's true. I mean, since when has a gamer worked at a game shop? xD

But seriously, I was prepared to pay a LOT more for it. They missed out. xD

I guess. The GameStop closest to where I live is complete hell, though.

Wow, I ought to sell a DS game of mine, and get a few more PS2 games.

Don;t count on getting much, EB pays less than the true value of a grain of sand of a used gamer and sells it at 9001 times the price.

I know what you mean.

I once found (and got) NiGHTS into Dreams at a used movies/cds/games store for $10. I guess they thought that since it was for the Sega Saturn, it wasn't worth much...

Yeah, but they're console trade-in was quite good. I mean, I could just give another $100 and buy a PS3 after I traded in my PS2. Oh wait, that's a ripoff for me (bought the thing at $350)
