Staring "early '08", Activision will begin handing out free Guitar Hero III Wii discs to those you bought the early version with updated features, like the fix on mono sound.
EVERYTHING BELOW HERE IS A RUMOR:
This could also mean a fix for multiplayer in free play, and a DLC option.

You can pre-register for the replacement disc by calling (866) 780-8286, or sign up for email notification:

Does anyone know if the replacement disk will come with instruction booklets? It's not a huge deal since I've known how to play GH since around April, but look at how mine came:
The other half is no where to be found  It's annoying seeing it that way every time I open the case |

Good. I just got the game a few days ago, and I noticed the sound pretty much sucks and there are annoying bugs where it goes black for a few seconds between most things. |

Well, Downloadable Content was confirmed for 2008, so we'll be seeing it sooner or later. As for the sound fix, w00t! Hopefully when I buy the game and guitar combo, it'll be fixed already so I won't have to buy the game and THEN get another. |
