I have a random idea to make a comic book series called "Rainbow Tanuki". The only problems are...
I dunno what the Tanuki should look like (I actually don't want him to be rainbow at all, and NO, I do NOT want him to have the enlarged... area...)
I need plot ideas.
People of Digibutter:
Provide me with good concept art for the main tanuki, and you'll get 30 coins if I use it. Also, I may need you for supporting characters/villains. If you can think of any off the bat, then go ahead and add some. I'll give even more coins!
Provide me with a decent plot idea, and you'll receive some coins. I'd want there to be a minimum of 6 or 7 issues of the comic, so if you can go in depth, then that would be neat, and you'd get 70 coins. Or if you can pitch a basic plot, we could work together to come up with further plot ideas. You'd get 30 coins for the pitch, and then 10 coins for each issue afterwards.
I will give credit to those that contribute, in my own writing! Yes! Not cheap computerized text!
I'll illustrate and write the actual comic, and will most likely use Photoshop to do the "dot shading" thingy that black and white comics do. Yes. Rainbow Tanuki is a black and white (and gray!) comic book. I'm going to copy the pages to make about 30 copies to begin with, and try to sell them to people in my school. There should be some kind of Digibutter mailing list, cuz I'd totally give some of you guys copies! |

Well, my art teacher loves me, so she'd give me permission to sell, and I have one of the biggest reputations around my school for being a good artist. Everyone's always looking at my comics and asking for drawings.
So yes, I believe that my school is the perfect place to sell at the moment. |

For the most part.
I have like... Backgrounds drawn, and a few small ideas floating around, such as bad drawings of some characters, and horrible plot ideas. I've been in an artist's/writer's block combination recently, so I've been needing a lot of help recently in what would normally be my strong points.
I want to see what you guys can come up with... A "user-submitted comic".
So yeah, you guys are thinking up everything, haha. |

That's not really funny. That's kind of considered "stealing" because you ask us for ideas, and you use them and say they're your own. If you're going to be selling this, I suggest you come up with your own ideas, or you give us credit for the ideas. |

Okay, I won't sell it, if it makes you guys happy. But jeez, it's not like I won't give credit where it's due.
I've had this artist's/writer's block since September, so I'm in a huge ditch (metaphorically, of course).
I just think that maybe if I worked together with some people a decent comic could come out of it. I've always done everything myself, and I've ran out of ideas.

Its not so much of "pissing people off" as it is "selling something for personal profit which other you got other people to come up with". |

Anyway, what kind of plot are you looking for? Action, comedy, romance? We need more details. What's the main charactar like? Ect. |
