The character roster is what can only get better, (and if it gets worse, it's a different series.)
Jr. is left out of nearly every character roster. The best character roster was Mario hoops 3 on 3, by far. Diddy, Dixie, Donkey, Mario, Bowser, Fly guy, Paratroopa, Bowser jr, LOTS OF PEOPLE.
Ofcourse, when I read the character roster for Mario Baseball, I was pretty surprised. It had Pianta, and Noki on it! And almost no doubt, the next one will have Rosalina. 0_0.
So what games had sucky rosters, and what had good ones? Mario and sonic had a bad roster, but it combined Mario AND sonic, so you can't expect much. (But is DK and Jr. too much to ask?) |

Did you notice that each dominant type had two Mario and two Sonic characters?If DK and Jr were added,then both sides would need to get more characters.They had that roster to keep it balanced on both sides.

It SOUNDS wierd, but If the earlier game had Nokis, and Piantas, this one could possibly have Lumas, and those robot things. And to what SA said, Comet observotory could make a nice baseball level, with the only problem being the Beackon in the center. I bet they could make it smaller, and have it be the Pitcher's place. XP.

Penguins have been in the audience of all Mario Sports games for a long time...it's an age-old tradition! DON'T RUIN TRADITION, I SAY!
Though I suppose the Penguins could have their own team...Penguins of different colors, Penguru, Penguin Coach, Guppy, and Ray! Hey, if a Goomba can play baseball, Ray can play football! |
