NEWCOMER
Tetris Block

You've been waiting a long time for this. Now, at long last, Tetris Block joins the Brawl! Much like the classic game it hails from, strategy will be required to properly wield the Tetris Block. See how many damage points you can rack up - every new battle gives you the chance to top your high score!

Tetris Block's Special Moves

Okay, so Tetris is a puzzle game, NOT a fighting game. Obviously. Nonetheless, I think I've managed to implement an interesting host of special attacks for this silent yet useful character.

<Standard Special Move: Change Piece>

There are seven different shapes that Tetris Block can assume. Some examples are the 2x2 square shape and the 4-in-a-row line shape. If you hold down the Special Attack button on its own, Tetris Block will start to flash. After a few uninterrupted seconds, you will shapeshift to another form! There is an order to this cycle, which will be revealed on a later update as unnecessary filler. Multiple shapes pave the way for multiple strategies! Take advantage of 2x2 square's above-average attack strength, or 4-in-a-row line's excellent side range. Quick thinking is the key!

<Side Special Move: Rotate>

Tetris Block spins on the spot. Which direction you use in tandem with the Special Attack button will determine the way you'll turn. Slam enemies with a protruding section of your current shape as you rotate to inflict damage! This attack has a slight knockback effect when it hits your opponents.

<Down Special Move: Quick Fall>

Tetris Block can Glide. When shifting about the stage through its own unique form of movement, you'll sometimes find yourself at a decent height to pull off this move. You'll slam straight down to the ground at a fast speed, harming opponents when you hit them. Be sure not to Quick Fall off the edge of the stage, because it's very difficult to stop once you begin! Steering is extremely limited. Using this move as different shapes produces different effects when it hits.

<Up Special Move: Block Fill>

Four rows of grey blocks rise up from underneath you as the difficulty level rises. This gives you some momentum to shift back to the stage before your piece falls any further. Use it with good timing!

Tetris Block: Final Smash

<Line Clear>

It's time to do some damage. The camera zooms out to a full view, making the arena a massive game of Tetris! You control the blocks, while your opponents control... the potential victims. For twenty seconds a Brawl simulation of Tetris will begin, with a list of upcoming pieces in the top right corner of the game screen. Every time you clear a line, all opposing characters take an amount of damage specific to how many lines you cleared at once. Hitting them as you make the Tetris Blocks fall is also fun. Good luck!

... Yeah, I was bored.

The best transformation will be L-Block. He's shaped like a boot ready to kick your ass!

The Final Smash could be a potential level. Fight while dodging falling Tetris blocks...

That would be pretty fun... I really like the more interactive levels, like WarioWare and PictoChat.

The final smash could also be used to squish opponents.

(Fair enough, I am making more of these anyway. Razz)

NEWCOMER
Tingle

Fans all around the world have been clamoring for Tingle. Now he finally gets to make his big Smash debut - let's welcome the fairy man with a smile! Belonging to the Lightweight Class, Tingle has a variety of tricky moves that are sure to leave your opponent guessing. Confuse the enemy, then hit them with your Tingle techniques!

Tingle's Special Moves

Tingle thinks he's a fairy... and he might not be wrong. He has many hidden talents and skills that, when put to proper use, can leave your opponent thinking: "WTF. I just got pwnt... by Tingle?!" You're damn right, non-fairy!

<Standard Special Move: Creepy!>

Tingle just stands there, being creepy. All of the other characters will keep their distance from you when you do this - trust me. Except of course when somebody else is playing Tingle. If that's the case... things start getting weird. I won't say any more for now. Use this defensive maneuver to buy yourself some time!

<Side Special Move: Rupee Collect>

Tingle swipes out with one of his short, greedy hands. Those maps are hard work to make, you know, and the little man hardly ever gets paid enough for what he does. In fact, only Link was a big enough sucker to fall for his outrageous pricing. When you hit an opponent with this short-range attack, they'll take a random amount of damage between 10-20% on average. Rupees will then randomly fly out of the foe, in a total value amount equal to the percent damage you inflicted. Grab as many as you can! Your Rupee count will be displayed above your icon at the bottom of the game screen.

<Down Special Move: Tingle Bomb>

Tingle decides to rip off Link's Down Special, and pulls a bomb out of nowhere. While Tingle Bombs have a somewhat larger blast radius than Link's Bombs, they can only be dropped one way - straight down. Tingle can Glide with his balloon, so that would be the opportune time to use this move.

<Up Special Move: Tingle Balloon>

Tingle's trusty balloon inflates, making him rise steadily into the air! You can steer yourself left or right, though not too quickly. Watch out - your balloon can be popped by a properly aimed attack from your opponents. Now wouldn't that be embarassing?

Tingle: Final Smash

<Payback>

Tingle rises into the air on his balloon. Take control of him and aim at your opponents. You will have twelve full seconds to fire off all of the Rupees you collected. Each one that hits inflicts knockback, and does some decent damage. Get in as many shots as you can! If you still have some Rupees left over, don't worry. As the attack comes to a close, Tingle pulls out a bottle and drinks some Red Ting, using the rest of your Rupees to regain health!

... Yep.

Should have been L-Block rather than Tetris Block, but still winful.
