I just saw it.
It was like Blair Witch meets Godzilla.

I felt like I was playing Half Life without a weapon.

What is the monster? Ever since I saw the commercial, I've been dying to know what it is...

A huge Godzilla-like monster that can release giant enemy crabs.

For no apparent reason, it wants to attack the largest city in america, knock over buildings, and eat tiny humans when it would probably normally eat big fish.

Did the Army hit the weak spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE?

*shot*

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. But I do want to go see the movie soon... it looks good from what I saw in the commericals.

I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard that it was kind of a disappointment. I was hoping for a western version of Godzilla, but apparently Cloverfield is just a typical horror movie with a big monster instead of a small one.
I'm still gonna see it, though.

I saw it too; it was awesome. But it came from JJ Abrams, so if you think Lost is weird, you'll know what to expect from this. When it reached the ending I was thinking, "Oh. That's the end isn't it?"
Oh yeah, and don't sit in the front rows. You'll probably barf from the first-person shaky-cam deal.

In the movie, the monster does look a bit more whaley, like in Francis' pic, he just has a build more similar to the one in my pic.
