Imma gonna start a contest that will both make Digibutter more professional and more awesome at the same time. I'm just that good. Also creativity or some shit. Who cares, eh? I present to you the Artist of the Month contest. Basically this boils to 4 separate contests a month based around a monthly theme. There will first be three smaller contests based upon specific forms of creation, followed by a fourth and final contest to determine the true master of all art...at least for that month. Here is how the contest doth flow.

Round 1: Raw Artist of the Month

Do you have the skill required to pick up a pen, pencil, or other writing utensil and use it to make lines on a piece of printer paper? If not, kill yourself. For those of you who haven't committed suicide, now is your time to shine. Send in a scan, digital photo, or any other type of digital image of your sketch to Poppledigibutter@yahoo.com to enter. You'll have a chance of winning 200 coins and a chance at the monthly finals! Pictures do not have to be colored and can not be edited on a computer in any way including inking, coloring, etc. K go win now plx

Round 2: Literate Artist of the Month

Do you have eyes? Can you read? Can your comprehend the meaning of words enough to combine them into coherent sentences? Then contest is for your dumb dumb! Send in any piece of literary art to Poppledigibutter@yahoo.com to have a chance at winning 200 coins and a shot at the monthly finals. Literary art must be a minimum of one paragraph, poems and the like being an exception. Get out there and learn to read! HOORAH!

Round 3: Nerrdy Artist of the Month

Are you a nerd? Can you move a mouse? Do you have a pirated copy of Adobe Photoshop? If you answered yes to at least two of these, and I know you answered the last one, then you could become the next Nerrdy Artist of the Month! Send in any piece of digital art to Poppledigibutter@yahoo.com to have a chance at taking home da big bucks with 200 coins and a shot at the finals. The entry can be anything from a inked and colored drawing, to a photoshopped image, or even a flash animation. Anything goes in this contest as long as it's in .jpg, .png, or any other appropriate format!

Prize: 200 coins


Final Round: Supreme Master Artist That is Cooler Than You of the Month

The finals close in, the combatants step forward. The master of raw doodles, the master of 4 letter words, and the master of photoshopping your head onto a llama will square off in one final contest to determine who is truly the best artist on Digibutter...for that month. Votes will be cast, blood will be spilled, and tears will be shed. But only one will walk away with half their limbs and a working liver. Also you win like video game points or something like that. I dunno. Anyway! Do you have what it takes to become the next Master Artist of Digibutter? Probably not but try anyway! Let the contest begin!

Prize: 1600 Microsoft points or 2000 Virtual Console points


All contests will be decided with votes. I will pick the best 10 or so entries, depending on the number of entries I receive, to be voted upon by the public. If the vote is a tie or very close, say if there are 50 votes and the top to are around 5 votes apart, I will call in a few of the other mods to decide the final champion. All prizes will be delivered directly through the console, I hope, so you will need to send me your Wii ID or your Gamertag if you win. So yeah, that's it. This isn't started yet by the way. That's why there is a poll. So vote and shit. Also I'm the one paying $20 for these freakin points, so don't get to depressed if you don't see this go into effect for a few months while I try to save up some freakin money so I can afford to do this.
