OK, so I was at [IRL friend of mine's who used to post here a few times, who shall remain unnamed here to protect the innocent]'s house, and she insisted upon watching awful reality shows. o___o;
There was this one about some old washed-up rock star guy from the 80's, and he had like 3084544 marzillion fangirls competing to be his girlfriend or something. And he made them do a stripper contest. x__x
And they were all like "ZOMG I WILL ALWAYSE B THEAR 4 U I LUV U SO MUCH!!" and were all truly sad individuals. Some of them even made him a card to apologize for not doing well enough in one of his debasing sexist contests.
o___o It's like... dude, he doesn't need you to "be there for him." You're delusional. He has everything he needs and is just using you for your body kthx.

.... anyway. strange rant over. i think.

Anyway, for some reason the idea popped into my head... Link, in his various incarnations, has 3084544 marzillion fangirls too. o__O Both in-game characters AND existing people.
What if he had a reality show of "lyk omg who getz 2 daet mi lolololool" with a mix of canon characters/Mary Sue fancharacters competing for his affections in a series of humiliating contests.
And now I have the strong, strong urge to write this as a fanfic or something. T__T

That would be a really fun story, you'd just need to get it down right. Like, the contests can't be too repetitive, the hosts need to have all the corny "jokes" that the contestants laugh at while gagging in disgust, and every contestant needs to have some type of pity story. Then you'll be good. =)

I was thinking of making Zelda being the "omg i am NOT doing this just because you say so, dickwad." one that actually has some backbone and self-esteem. o__O

Nabooru would definitely be the ultra-backstabbing chick who's all like "zomg i am CLEARLY SUPERIOR to all of you. i am SO SUPERIOR that if he doesn't pick me then that must mean HE isn't good enough for ME, because I am definitely MORE THAN GOOD ENOUGH FOR HIM. *rips all clothes off*" you know the type. o.o

And Malon would probably win. o__o; I don't know why I think that though.


And, with Link, there would probably be a really weird mix of contests. Obviously there would be the whole "zomg, act like sluts" contests, 'cause there are always "zomg, act like sluts" contests.
But the rest of them would probably be, like...
Well, usually they'd be like, dancing, or cooking or something. o_o; But his would be like, "Catch and hold, with your bare hands and brute force, the crazed goat that's running aroung the interior of the house!"

... kinda like Fuzzy Lumkins, only less hickish.

xD I could see Maron winning it just because most of the others fangirls would be too busy going "KAWAII!! IT'S LINK!!! ZOMG!!", but you would think that Link would see some kind of almost 'hidden beauty' in Zelda...
