AND I CANT STANDS NO MORE.
Ive been hearing FOREVER the whole "there isn't going to be Clones in brawl" Speech Since Craging DAY 1 Can anyone tell me first off, Who said this, When they said this , And If it WAS official Nintendo may I See the OFFICIAL Documentation on it. No "Sakurai said it" That wont count demit.
Cite Examples. I've had it up to hear with this Mess ( which I believe is derived from a misquote)

I think I can clear this up.
For one, I don't think Sakurai ever actually said it: any time I request to know where he has, people can never tell me. It comes, I believe, from when Sakurai had his Japanese blog. He was answering minor things about the game and one of the remarks he made was along the lines of "Not everyone from Melee will be returning." The assumption people made, of course, was that "Well who would not be returning? Surely he'd only remove clone characters!" which evolved into "no more clones." |

A clone character is seen as a character who has a non original moveset. assessments often omit Physics and play style of the charecter. Just because Luigi fights like Mario he can be considered a clone to the untrained eye
More notable examples of common clones
Doctor Mario to Mario
Pichu to Pikachu
Falco to Fox
Roy to Marth
Its come to the point where I hate the word "Clone" As I belive its a Junk term to use against characters who share some moves in a move set.
the Original Clone Chareter Ken to Ryu in streetfighter 2 ( first version) was a true clone, the only thing that was different was the sprite, Fortunately ken has evolved since then |
