Which is better for music compression, .rar or .zip? Or are they both about the same?

I doubt either would be able to compress an audio file smaller.

I dont think Audio/Video/Images can be compressed any further.

Well, I'm uploading folders of music, and both types seem to be working...plus, I initially downloaded them in a .rar format...

Eh, I'll just try both.

Yeah they will both work, and they are good for grouping files together into one file. Im just saying that I dont think think either make a difference when it comes to making the filesize smaller.

I would use zip just because most windows users dont know what rar is

One last question: is there any difference in quality?

Thanks for the help.

I'm used to working with .zip personally, but I occasionally use Winrar.
