Took a ridiculously long time to make. I posted it in OT, but I decided to post it here, too. Because I have the freedom to do that. >:O

Yup. So...there we have it. Any advice for beginner? Oh, and I'm planning on making the outline of the cape lighter, instead of pure black.
Then I made it an avatar, which I'm using.

For the whole .PNG extension thing, I've found that only works in Windows XP and up (maybe 2000 as well, not sure, never used it). I couldn't save .PNG files in MSPaint when I was using Windows Me. I suggest InfranView or a similar program if your version of MSPaint can't save .PNG or even .GIF files.
Anyway, onto the sprite. From what I can see, it's pretty good. It doesn't look like you just slapped on colours to make it "pretty", which is a good, no, great thing. If you did do that, then you have an eye for colour, which is also a good thing.
The only things that bother me are the collar and the arms. Reason being that the arms have predominantly grey outline, while the collar is solid black. Since the areas are the same colour, or close to it, the outlines should have the same colours out into them. So, the arms should have some darker colours/shades (black or dark grey) to counteract the lighter colour/shade (light grey), and the collar should have lighter greys in the outline. This will make the sprite look much more "together". :D
Nonetheless, I think it's a very nice sprite. ^^ It was well thought out, and turned out nicely. |

Save it as a bitmap (bmp).
Make sure it's 24 bit. Then use GIMP or something to save it to png. Or upload the bmp to http://imageshack.us/ which will make it a png. Then download it. =P |
