To explain, "Hoshi no Kaabii" was the original version of "Kirby: Right Back at Ya!"

Its quite a bit different from the US version.

Example 1: Escargon is really nasty. In the first episode, he threatened to execute people and, if memory serves me right, this included Fumu (Tiff) and Bun (Tuff).

Example 2: Remember the episode where Fumu/Tiff and Bun/Tuff were trying to help Kirby find a home? Well, one of the stops was the police station. Tokkori, the annoying bird who had been at the time decieved by Dedede to try to run Kirby out of town by screwing up all the attempts to help get him a home... Anyway, the bird dropped a machine gun into Kirby's 'hands'. He accidentally pulled the trigger, causing bullets to fly all around the place. Luckily, everyone ducked out of the way.

Example 3: Okay, I'm still watching the first ten, but Kamu (the giant stone face which knows everything) told Fumu/Tiff and Bun/Tuff a little about one of Nightmare's failed creations who turned on him. It is thought that it might be Kirby, but this isn't clear. It could be Meta Knight himself.

Example 4: Blade Knight and Sword Knight, Meta Knight's helpers, have female voices. Also, Meta Knight seems to be given a slightly Zorro theme.

Example 5: The guy from Holy Nightmare Co. (Nightmare Enterprises) with whom Dedede talks to is very polite. Kind of creepy, actually.

Example 6: The intro and credits are hilarious. The music is fun, but also during the credits, we get a little 'how to draw Kirby and Dedede (his head, actually)' lesson.

Very fun so far. :3

Kirby of the Stars is the most adorable anime ever. Seriously.
Another thing that's changed in the dub... In the original, Escargon is gay. It's only mentioned a couple of times, but he says that he's in love with King Dedede.

I used to watch Right Back At Ya! but I haven't seen the original (I know many of the differences though).
4Kids actually replaced two episodes (the dentist one, and the one where they lose the ring), which aired in the middle of the series, with the first two parts of the series finale ("Air Ride In Style" in the U.S.) to promote Kirby: Air Ride. Because of this, the last few episodes make no sense, so they had to show a rerun of those episodes right before they showed the rest of the finale. 4Kids always messes things up like this . It also annoys me how they make unneeded edits, like taking out the last words of Nightmare, or changing Nightmares name to "eNeME" And what's with making Meta Knight Mexican O_o? Or all those plot holes they made?
I'm going to stop complaining now, it's still an excellent Anime. The animation episodes made me lol. "Dedede: Comin' At Ya!"

I liked that "Cartoon Buffoon" episode! It gives you a general idea about what happens in the Animation studios, and at 4Kids' dubbing station. It ended with the Obvious end joke - "It's one of those shows that's so BAD it's good!"

I LOVE this show.
Also, they threaten to execute many times, and they did cut out some violent parts, and they cut out everytime gus's gas station explodes, which is actually a running gag in the show.
As for Metaknights voice, I like the japanese, the english is cool, and i'm not really partial to his brawl voice.
