Platic made a .GIF. A cheap laugh.
He got 29 cookies and counting.
It seems that the cookies, meant to reward QUALITY posts, are just given to whoever can spam the best.
It's almost like Francis adding cookies is now just a new encouragement to spam, since if you're lucky enough to make someone laugh, you get rewarded for your "quality post".
Seriously, the few cookies I've earned are for the reasons "I lol'd" or "Because I felt like it".
No offense to Plastic and Tyler, your GIFs were cool, but I wouldn't nessicarily call them quality posts.
I just hope someone will try to surf the other forums looking for a true post of quality. D:

That would still mean abuse in Your Creations. Imagine this: Mama Luigi posts an "epic" story involving Franis and Youtube poop. He'd probably get even more cookies then Plastic's getting now. |

True. No offense plastic mario, I really REALLY loved your GIF, but it did NOT deserve to get so many cookies and FRONT PAGED. People gave me cookies because I did something "EPIC" not "quality" as in maybe "truth" I also got like 3 cookies for a post in Introductions because they said I told the truth. And I will consider THAT a quality post. |

I think the same thing. People see something, they think "EPIC WIN!" or "MARRY ME TC!" and than spam that with cookies. I sometimes give them when something looks good and DESERVES the cookie. I don't give them randomly. Give cookies when deserved! |

I expected maybe 1 cookie from someone who's obsessed with fads or something. No idea people would like it that much D: |

Yeah, I agree.....it makes me sad when I post something that I worked really hard on and only get 1 or 2 cookies for it, and then someone posts some spammy animated gif and gets like 30 cookies for it. D: |

Plus they save them all for mods/francis/twytch.
All my cookies? They all have the same reason.
I guessed right when someone said 'cookie to whoever catches the reference'

The only downside is the mass leak of brawl spoiler on the front page.
Otherwise I believe people have freedom to choose what they like. |

While maybe the distribution of cookies is unfair, I also think it's unfair to pick on the people who are getting them. It's not Plastic's fault that so many people gave him cookies for something he made and posted. So, what should he do, just not post anything creative? That's the same way I felt when I was called a sell-out for posting those Franis cookies. It made me feel like creatively expressing myself with something related to the community was a BAD thing.
Sure, it might not be fair for the rest of the population who isn't getting cookies... but does the cookie system really have to be a popularity contest to begin with? Just because someone has less cookies doesn't mean we like them any less. Let people hand out their cookies as they see fit, it's really not such a big deal to make Plastic feel like an outcast for it. |

Maybe you're right. I barely care about cookies anyways. It's what people say about your work that matters, not digital cookies. |
