...Allow me to rephrase that.
In my honest opinion, if you look at Melee as "The Sequal to Smash 64"... It's bad. But if you don't, it's an okay game. However, from what i've seen, Brawl made up for Melee's mistakes in looking like a sequal to Smash 64.
What do you guys think? |

It doesn't really matter to me, I like them both just as equal. My only problem with melee is that they shouldn't of downgraded Ness and Captain Falcon. |

I didn't care about melee's newcomers. I only care about Pikachu, and Yoshi in the game. The other people I just use for cpu characters in my self made event matches like Young link vs. Leverl 9 ganondork. |

To be honest, I never really liked SSB64 that much. |

Melee was the more competitive-styled game. Brawl and SSB64 were the more "funtime" games. While I suppose you could use Brawl for competitions, it wouldn't be at the same hectic pace as Melee (unless it's Sonic VS Captain Falcon in Green Hill Zone).
Therefore, Brawl is more like SSB64 than Melee, and would generally appeal to a larger crowd than Melee would. And considering Melee's popularity...that's a whole lotta Brawlin'! |

You have no idea how excited I was to hear someone describe Brawl as being "slower than Melee, more like the 64 game"
And MALAK you may be biased since Kirby's down smash in SSB64 = instant kill |

I´ve only played SSB64, I got tired of it after a long time at my emulator, but somehow it attracted me and entertained me every time I played. |

SSB64 > SSBM Nuff sed.
IMO, SSBB will be better than Melee, but not as good as the original. |
