IGN reports the first info and screenshots of Guitar Hero for Nintendo DS:
- It will feature the same gameplay as the console versions and will use "Guitar Grip" fret buttons that plugs into the GBA slot (only 4 buttons though).
- You strum the stylus across the screen.
- 20 licensed songs.
- Releases this summer.
- Supports local multiplayer for two players.
Check out the video and more screenshots.

Cool, I was wondering how they planned to put GH on DS. This has potential to be good, but what about us original DS users? The fret button add-on looks like it was designed for a DS Lite! |

Hmm... It looks... interesting, but I don't think GH suits the DS, or any handheld really. I'm used to playing my DS with the sound off anyway |

I does look a little awkward... and thats a good point Kirby, I hope they keep us Phat DS owners in mind.
I really hope they add online support too. |

Wow, that's messed up, but flipping schweet at the same time.
And I'd be afraid that I'd push the DS cartridge and eject it. |

I dunno, it looks to awkward to be any fun. Plus, it looks like it might've been designed for right-handers, leaving left-handers at a bit of a disadvantage. |

There's probably a lefty switch option, where it flips around the screens so you can play left handed. |

Lol n00bs still using klunky original DSes... This looks like a great idea, but I'm sure they'll end up messing it all up... Still, I'd buy it if i has good enough music on it! |

I for one think that it is pretty schweet. It is a great innovative way, that they put the DS, to the side, in order to play the game. It might bring along a new group of Guitar Hero lovers. Also, many people will be able to play this game, while they are in a car, or on a plane, and pretty much everywhere else.
My friend has told me that he will be getting Guitar Hero for the DS, so I might try it with his before I buy it. |

Looks a little too... awkward. You'd have to use your finger on the touch screen, and that's a hell of a lot harder than it sounds. |

A Pseudo-Guitar Pick is included with the game. |
