In the upcoming gamestop brawl tournament, they're requiring the use of the wii mote & nunchuk and the only characters available to use in it will be the standard ones.at least that's what i was told by a gamestop clerk. ughhh.......*no marth*......... |

They're doing it because they don't want to spoil the game, and they don't have many control styles avaliable because they can't use their Wii's GCN ports. Technically, the Wii-mote option is still avaliable.
Also, have you considered going for the slower, more-steroids-in-neck Ike? He's like Roy, only stronger and slower and more rough. Best alternative I can suggest. |

well, i've been considering Ike, i just like the swiftness and range of marth. as far as i can tell about the controls, i'm guessing they're doing it that way to give everyone a fair chance at getting accustomed to the game, like for people who are newcomers to the SSB series. |

It's not about if you suck or not, it's how you laugh as you lose. In the words of a great main theme to a video game, "Live and Learn".
And I just signed up for my local Brawl tournament. I'm ready to get out there and be the first eliminated! |

If only we'd get something like that here.
But, where I'm from, the only thing to Brawl is it being sold in the game shops. And the game shops are VERY few, specially after some companies (Special mention: Blockbuster) stopped selling games. |

I wanted to play with a GCN Controller, but no. Luckily, I had to look at the Wii Remote's Configurations on the site. That should give me a general idea of how to play with a Wii Remote. |
