Pokémon Trainer has only made his presence known upon joining, and the Stamina system really drove the fans away. In the end, when the whole roster leaked, nobody mained Pokémon Trainer. But I'm probably going to, I'm only not gonna do it if experience says so.

(I had to link to it since my youtube tags are bork'd)

Predictably, the three Pokémon have a variety of stats. According to the vid description, Squirtle is fast yet weak, Charizard is strong yet slow, and Ivysaur is the average between them, but also with a longer range in the moves, thus making it the best in theory. Also, powder smashes FTW.

With a character like that, setting a proper counter is going to be tough. And the change of tactic can be largely confusing to the foes. Sadly, though, this can confuse the player as well.

But, overall, it's a fine character.

Oh, I didn't notice whoever intended to main him actually.

But compared to other newcomers, PT sure is a less chosen... Choice.

Now, can I has some good discussion on him, his abilities and stuff?

(in my opinion of course) it's just a matter of the strategy associated with using him. i do think he could be a very threatening character if you manage to work out a versatile strategy for each other character on the roster. i think the potential is there, but it may be difficult mastering him, or better yet knowing when exactly would be the proper time to bring out a specific pokemon.

This is a wise assumption. Many people can't even think the right time to bring out Sheik when using Zelda anyway.

But my strategy would be swapping around often to confuse the foe's defences down. Of course, I'd train a lot before doing that, so I won't get confuzzled myself.

I'm never going to use him just because of his earbleed-inducing voice.
