Fairly often when I'm playing it will just shut off. It usually occurs after pressing a button. Most of the time when I press two buttons at once it will shut off. I know it's not a problem with the power or battery. I've tried playing on a full charge, plugged in, I even changed the battery. I don't know what is wrong with my DS or if anyone else has this problem. For all I know, this could be incredibly common and easy to fix. I just don't know. It's impossible to pass a level in almost any game, except maybe Phantom Hourglass, that game barely using buttons. So, yeah, what's wrong with my DS and how can I fix it?

Thats the most logical thing to do. If not, you're *crag*ed.

Same. Both my DS and my Lite are screwed and I don't have warranty. Their top screens are falling off because I never use the wrist strap and I walk and play a lot.

Checked the Nintendo website, that wouldn't be covered by warranty anyway.

I usually get warranties from Best Buy or where ever I bought it. They get fooled easily.

Pressing A and B at the same time is a reset code?

Are you sure it's ONLY A and B,and that you aren't tapping any other buttons?

Yes, but sometimes it's X and Y, or just B, once I pressed down and it shut off.
