Okay, here goes nothing.
THE PROBLEM:
Okay, I have a 2006 Wii. Brawl only works with 2007/8 Wii's.
IT WON'T RUN BRAWL. There, I said it. I REALLY WANT TO PARTICAPATE IN THIS TOURNEY. 
THE REQUEST:
I request that Franis postpone the first round so anyone who got launch Wii's (like me, except I got it on 12/25) can have their's repaired to work with Brawl.
Listen, Francis. I may or may not be the only one who got a 2006 Wii, but just listen to my request. Poll placed as well.  |

Wii update?
I have a 2006 Wii. Mine works fine with brawl, because I got updates. shouldn't the disk update it for you?

OBJECTION! My wii is from the week right after the wii was released. Brawl runs, Ergo, not all 2006 wii's can't run brawl. |

I KNOW THE PROBLEM! THIS HAPPENED TO ME!
Do one of two things:
1. Spray the inside of your Wii with canned air
2. contact Nintendo with the problem and they'll fix your Wii for free in one week, and your Wii gets its 1 year warranty back again. |

Some Wiis have issues reading the Brawl disc.
Everyone has untill April 9th to play your first round.
If you still can't play by April 9th, you must forfeit, sorry |

I guess me and you could postpone the match for a week or something (Golly, I don't even have the game yet! D: ) but I think postponing the whole tourny would be too far. |
