In Drawing 2 this past month, we have been working with pencil rather than charcoal. Recently, we have been making tone by blending rather than cross-hatching.
I wanted to see how it would look with my usual sketches.

My personal favorites are the Magikoopa, the Crystal Star, the Chaos Heart, and the Drybone Skull (specifically the skull). |

These are really nice. I like the Drybone Skull and Crystal Star the most. They really have nice form. :D
I think that these would look even better if you darkened certain areas with a 4B or 6B pencil to add more contrast. |

Good tip, but I did with the 4B. Stupid scanner scanned it lighter... |
