Yeah, I'm making another Transformers topic. :P

I watched the season 1 finale last night, (on YouTube, since I missed it on TV...) and all I can say is epic. This show is awesome, easily the best Transformers cartoon since Beast Wars.
These aren't complaints, just things I want to discuss and write down my thoughts on;

Optimus Prime
Some people have complained that Prime isn't the all-knowing fearless leader that he was in the original. (aka. "WAAAAAAH IT'S NOT JUST LIKE G1 SO IT SUCKS WAAAAAAH") But I have a feeling that's going to change. Prime is young and inexperienced right now, but based on the character development we've already seen in the series, I bet that within a couple of seasons he's going to be the wise leader we all know and love.
He still looks dumb without his faceplate. But I've gotten used to that.

Sari
I love Sari. I really do. Having a human character who's actually useful is awesome. And the way she's drawn (her face, at least) makes her look like something out of Wind Waker. Which is awesome.

Bulkhead
Bulkhead can do this.

'nuff said.

Starscream
Okay, I have never liked Starscream. I thought he was obnoxious and whiny in G1, I hated his voice, and in Armada... ugh. I don't understand his fangirls at all. In the movie he was a triangle with arms and legs for chrissakes.
Animated Starscream is tolerable, though. In the first episode, he actually succeeded at something. That's a first. I still don't really like him, but he doesn't make me boil with rage anymore.
Also, he's voiced by Spongebob. Which amuses me because I can picture him going "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready!"

Blitzwing
This guy is my favourite Decepticon, possibly my favourite character altogether. I've always liked Triple-Changers, and the idea of one with a different personality for each form is really neat. (okay so he can switch between all three personalities in robot form, but shut up.) I really, really want to see what the toy version of him looks like.

I have two complaints about this show, too, but they're both pretty small.

1. The animation, especially the lip syncing, could be improved. If it just had a few more frames per second, it would look much better. It bugs me, but most people probably don't even notice it.
2. The toys aren't out yet! D:

If you're a fan of Transformers, and haven't watched this show yet, you're really missing out. Go watch it.
Season 2 starts next week. Can't wait.
