I came across this a while back, and I've been anticipating the release for a while. It's called Football Superstars, and it's a Sport MMO. Basically, you control your own Footballer and go from playing matches for fun to making the Pros. For those of you who don't understand, it's actually Soccer, not American Football. You don't just have to play Football, however. The game will have Virtual clubs, bars and shops. So it's sort of like SecondLife, but actually fun. *shot*
Unlike other Football games, you don't control a whole team but just your character. You can play in matches with other people at your skill level, and it's actually free. I signed up to Beta Test, but I haven't gotten a reply... >_> It will come out this summer, however, and I'm excited as hell for it.
