So...yes.
I got this idea because of a few things - 1. the fact that people constantly remark on the number of villains in RPOT; 2. the number of alt grave-esque topics; 3. ...sugar lol.
Yes, I know someone's going to remark on how this reflects that my Digi life is solely focused on RPOT. I'm pathetic, deal with it. ;~;

Prologue: Foreshadowing ('Cuz that's what they do, lolz).
The landscape was bleak. Gray and cold. Empty and barren. A massive wasteland, the otherwise featureless horizon broken by strange shells of what may have once been caves, or buildings...
There were no signs of color. No signs of light. No signs of life...
...Except for a small figure that came hurtling down through the sky.
"EEEEEEEEEK!"
A young girl, her blue robes bright against the dark ground, crashed down, raising a cloud of dust as she did.
"*coughcough* >< ..."
The girl stood and looked up at the sky, barely distinguishable from the miserable ground beneath her.
"...What the *crag*ing blue? Where am I?"
The last thing she remembered was watching the girl check the poll results, and then her hand moving closer to the little [x] ...
"...Oh hell no. She did NOT-"
"Delete you?"
The girl turned. A slim, dark-colored figure stood before her, arms folded and lips curved in a smug expression.
"Who the heck are you? ...Wait...I think I recognize you!  From the Brawl plot, right?"
"A pleasure to see you again, Priestess," Dark Shadow chuckled.
"And why would that be, huh?" the blue-worshipping cultist retorted, hands on her hips.
"Because I happen to know of a certain...meeting that's going on in a certain part of these abominable barrens...And I'd be a very unhospitable messenger if I didn't invite you a long."
He extended a hand. "Shall we?"
The Happy Happy Priestess stared at him for a moment.
"...Can I take my paintball gun?"
"Yes.
"I'm in, then."
So saying, she took his hand.
And with a (hopefully) touch of comedy finally added to MsDevin's over-dramatically serious writing, the two villains darted off into the unknown...

Chapter One: In which Kammy and Kamek foreshadow the plot moar.
Role-Play Off-Topic, or, as it was better known to the Nerrs of Digibutter, was an extremely lively place, in stark contrast to where the HHP and Dark Shadow had met (not that many of them knew that, of course, because even the Nerrs can’t break the fourth wall THAT much). All sorts of settings populated the sprawling forum landscape. There were battlefields, buildings, entire kingdoms…Basically, anything the digibutterites could and did think of, come true.
Mister I and Medikoopa were currently relaxing in a topic alongside Crazy Cody, watching their alts- Bowser, Kammy, and Kamek- converse nearby.
“So, how’re you, Cody?” Medikoopa wondered, looking over at him.
“Meh, still sick,” he said in reply.
“Ooh, sorry,” Mr. I said apologetically.
“It’s okay. Besides, this means I technically get a three-day weekend, and I get to hang out with you guys, right?”
“Right, a- …Crud, lunch break is over,” Medi groaned, standing. “Later, guys. Mind putting the RP on pause until I get back?”
“I don’t mind. Later, Medi,” Mr. I said, waving.
“Bye, Medi,” Cody chimed in.
Medikoopa stood and exited the topic, fading as she did- she’d logged off. The other two decided to leave the topic, as well. To signify that the plot had been paused, the surroundings turned gray, leaving the alts to basically linger around until it was time to pick things up again.
Kamek turned and plucked a random magic tome from a shelf as Bowser stomped off into the throne room. Flicking through the pages with one claw, he turned to his sister, who was polishing her wand.
“So, how’s tricks, sis?”
“Nothing much,” Kammy replied. “Not that I’m complaining, though. It’s nice to have a break, especially after that Brawl plot.”
“I’ll say. It was nice to see Tabuu finally kicked out of Cody’s alt roster. The guy’s a jerk, and all his Subspace crap was giving me a headache.”
“What do you think Cody will do with the extra alt slot, though?”
“I dunno. I don’t think he has any solid ideas, himself. Personally, I’m hoping for an M. Bison revival. He was pretty kickass.”
Kammy mumbled something incoherent, shrugging, and went to scry through her crystal ball. Personally, she thought Bison was a little too violent- and he and Kamek could get pretty annoying when they started blowing things up- but, then again, that was why Kamek probably enjoyed having him around as a fellow alt.
“…”
It was just then that a curious idea hit her. She had never really been deleted, since, even though she didn’t always have an official alt space, Medikoopa always used her in plots. The same went for Kamek- heck, he had barely left his roster space since he was introduced. Cody enjoyed having him around too much.
So…
“…Say, Kamek?”
“Yeah?”
“What do you think happens to a deleted alt?”
