As many of you already know , I hate zero punctuation. He is not a reviewer and he has no grammar at all. (zero punctuation derr) So he makes more blows at 'our' favorite game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. (not mah fav. yo) I was actually waiting for him to review bash this game just like other titles I was waiting for. (Zelda: PH, Halo 3, Orange Box)
So here is Zero Punctuation going at it again. Now I am going to pick out stuff that he said that wasn't true for low blows. (He does it all the *cragging* time with games)
1. The He says the players are 'too small' which they aren't, he probably has dull vision (obviously) or a fecking small TV.
2. The one I hate the most, This makes ZP the ass he is. He bashes the game for unlocking. What kind of *cragging* 'gamer' hates unlocking? Oh wait he's not a gamer..
3. Another thing he said that if you want to unlock Sonic you'll have to play for 10 hours, only to find out that you can fecking unlock him in the Subspace Emissary more then have the time. So why not mention there are multiple ways of unlocking?
4. The whole '*crag* solid snake, they should let you unlock bill murray.' Which was totally unnecessary.
5. Ok, then he says 'Who the hell is Marth', he has too be stupid to not know. Either that, or he just wants to be 'funny'. (which I can't believe I am actually defending)
6. And he also mentions Lucas. First of all, tons of people were hyped about Lucas even here; And for his *crag* information, they are making a damn translation!
Yeah..whatever, Some stuff he says can be true, but most of it is bullshit. I respect Zero Punctuation, but not for what he claims, a "Reviewer".
2. Who'd bash the game for unlocking??? Thats one of the best parts of the game. If their wasn't unlocking, the game would phail. More then half the fun in Brawl is unlocking the secrets. It actually adds challenge and flavor to the game. Zero Punctuation, you suck.
It's small media shows like Zero Punctuation that find an amazing balance with me. Half of the time my raging fanboy inside wants to chew his head off, and the other half I simply remember it's not so much a review as it is just satire. Simply put, after Phychonauts and its failure for his positive review of it, he had to find a lot of points to criticize on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, just like he did on Super Mario Galaxy. Of course, other than the obvious fact that he can't accept what a franchise is, there are so few points actually revelant to gameplay and entertainment that you can tell from a subliminal message that this is a good game, reguardless of whatever crap he throws on it.
It's reviews like Zero Punctuation that aren't really meant to be taken seriously and are simply supossed to be used for humor purposes, or steroids.
I love this man, I want to meet him in person so I can shake his hand and pay him hundreds of dollars in US currency.
You guys take this review so damn literally instead of looking at the key points he is making.
