I was just cheking out the random news of GoNintendo.com, when some great Cow-Dropping news arose.
EarthWorm Jim is making a comeback of epic proportions, including the following things to happen:
1. EWJ 1 & 2 are to hit the Virtual Console, later this year (probably the Summer),
2. There's gonna be a new EWJ game to be made (Platforms to be determined),
3. A new Cartoon Series to hit the Airwaves, THIS fall, and quite possibly the most bizarre of all news,
4. A FEATURE LENGTH FILM will be made, featuring EarthWorm Jim, the Galaxy's Mightiest Invertibrate!
And the cool thing about it is that Doug TenNapel is gonna be the chief consultant for all these things, as well as the creator of the new cartoon show. You might wanna post the Original Show's Theme Song, now.

*drops the cow on bottles98* Of course, there WAS a PSP game planned, but it got cancelled. I just hope they bring out EarthWorm Jim 3D on VC. I loved that game, as well as the fact that I couldn't beat it. Still, with a new cartoon series and film coming, there's bound to be a TOY DEAL!! |

I never watched the cartoon really, but I thought the character design and the game's humor was awesome. Earthworm Jim is one of those characters that won't ever go away. Is Shiny Entertainment still around? |

Nah, but Interplay still exists. Shiny Entertainment ended up bought out by Atari, but probably sold off to Interplay. |

The craziest game ever (in my opinion at least) coming to VC? Awesome.
We've had the cartoon in the UK for a fair while, and it is pretty bonkers. |

EPIC!!!!
I never really had a chance to play the Earthworm Jim games, despite wanting to. VC gives me the perfect opportunity to experience the earthworm's adventures, and a new game, cartoon, and movie? That's AWESOME!!!!
I just hope the cartoon is good, considering the low quality of today's cartoons.... |

I have high hopes for it. It IS Doug TenNapel, after all.
Plus, cartoons seem to be getting good again, what with Transformers: Animated, Spectacular Spider Man, etc... |

Is it just me or does Doug TenNapel sound like "Doug Ten Nipple"?
