charizard's glides are only good for horizontal recovery.
I've mastered using springs for infinite airtime in training mode. :3 |

I only use gliding to avoid combo *crag* by Giga Bowser and Octopus.
Otherwise,I suck at it. |

I use gliding only for Meta Knight to swoop down and attack. a great finisher :) |

I've mastered gliding with Pit, but it's not that useful if you are in a tight battle. It's really only good when you are trying to escape an enemy. Also, Pit can't attack while gliding, and I find that a problem because I would like to attack enemies in the air. |

you can attack out of a glide with any of the 3. |

I wasn't sure because when I tried to attack with Pit while he was gliding, he wouldn't attack but drop to the ground. I spent about an hour trying to make it work, but I guess I could try it again. |

Just press A to do a quick slice.
If you jumped less than 3 times before gliding, follow it up with an up B. |
