I know status items have been suggested before... when do you plan to add them?
And then DRAINING items. Perhaps you can make it so that for more coins than usual you can make an item give you a certain percentage of the health you took back. |

it wouldn't drain ALL the HP, just a percentage (maybe 25%)
the rest of the HP would just be damage. |
