We're playing at Sarasota Pride, which is a gay pride festival. None of the members in the band are gay as far as I know, but I don't think anyone's complaining. This is my third major outing with the band, the first was the Sarasota festival of something, and the last was a three-day trip up to Orlando a week or so ago for a competition. We're playing at the Van Wezel performing arts hall, and I believe we're the first act up. The name of the band is the Edison Swinging Cats, and our director is Jimi Gee, a rocker famous around Bradenton. I play Trombone for the band, and I'm still fairly new to the band.
If you live in Florida you better come down to see the band play or I'll eat your face off. D:< |
