So I just got LostWinds yesterday, and there's a lot of hype about it, so I'll review it so you guys can decide whether to get it or not.
Basically you're this *crag* kid named Toku who follow the wind onto a *crag* bridge which *crag* collapses and you fall into a *crag* cavern, where you find the wind spirit, Enril. You use him to help you fly around, move objects, and kill *crag* bad guys. You have to find treasure and explore ancient shrines to get new power ups, to beat the final cragging boss.
Story:
The story is pretty neat, but the whole thing is pretty much told you in the first part of the game. There's really no plot twists or suprises. The whole game is really predictable. Not much to say.

Gameplay:
I had a blast with the controls when I got the game. I was making Toku fly around, hit walls, hit villagers with stones, etc. After this, it became extremely repetitive. You use the same wind-bending skills again and again to explore caves and shrines. After you beat a shrine, things get mixed up again. You unlock a new ability and must use it again and again to get out of the cave, until the new power even becomes a bore. The enemies are also repetitive, as there are only about three or four throughout the whole game. They are also very easy to beat. All you have to do is slam them against a wall... Even though, it can get a tad boring, it can be really fun at some times.

Music:
Well, the music's not too great and if I'm correct, there's around three or four songs in the whole game. Not much to say.
4/10
Graphics:
The graphics in this game are top-notch. The backgrounds are beautiful and the characters look epic because they look somewhat cel-shaded. There's a lot of bright and vivid colors. I especially like the tall trees with the pink leaves. My eyes love them.
9/10
Overall, this is a great game. Despite, some of the repetitiveness, it's a must-have for WiiWare.

Nice review, but I am confused at your conclusion.
The good points you said were that it was beautiful, and real fun at first and a few other times.
The bad points being that it was predicatable, boring, and repetitive.
Doesn't sound like a "must-have" game to me. |

Well, it's pretty good overall. The weak points have less meaning than the strong points because when you're reviewing a game it's your responsibility to point out the good and bad things. Does that make sense?

DAMMIT! I wanted to be the first to review this. (If I am not mistaken I was the first to buy it) God, I am just soooo lazy.
You better toon into my review when I make it, because it will make much more sense.
I mean, "real fun" and then you say "boring"? What the HELL?
But I do think I know what you mean. The music is quite boring. |

WHY DON'T YOU SAY *CRAG* EVERY SENTENCE?
Also, the game never said anywhere that Enril was a girl.
Lastly, I meant that some of the things were fun, like the beginning, and using the new power-ups, but the game forced you to use them so much after awhile, it became tiresome.

Um, what the hell? I didn't bash your review, it was just said that I was planning on making this review, but my laziness stopped me. So count that out.
And did you even play through the game throughly? did you beat it? Because it DOES infact mention that Enril is a girl.
And last, I actually thought the dungeons (or whatever you want to call them) gets more fun later on in the game.
Good review nontheless. I just wanted to point out lil' mistakes like Francis did.
