So, things have been crazy here lately 'cuz my cousin got engaged and we had to get preparations done and have an engagement party. And stuff like that is hard because my family has, like, OVER 9000 members. My mom's one of nine, and 8 out of those 9 adults are married, and they all have at least two kids. Then you gotta count in my nana, and all my assorted second cousins and stuff. And then at the party itself there was also my nana's friend, my cousin's fiancee, and HIS super-huge family, and all of his and her friends. And three dogs. And then add the fact that my family has, like, 20 extra people I don't know how I'm related to and haven't seen for 10+ years.
Today was the party. Luckily my aunt has a big house, 'cuz she runs this daycare-center thing. And there was lots of food, like hamburgers and fajitas and my mom made this gigantic fruit salad (she's really creative with those- she makes watermelon carriages or boats or stuff <3), and tropical fruit drinks and cupcakes and my Aunt Beth made this WONDERFUL raspberry-chocolate cake that everyone devoured. And there was music and the pool and lots of talking and catching up to do and video games. We were there for maybe more than six hours.
...I'm hopped up on about three sugary sodas and a ton of desert. Can you tell? 8D

Wow. You're family's about as big as mine. Of course, the majority is all step-cousins, but there are like, 20 aunts and uncles, and a good amount of cousins. I don't even remember all their names because I never see them.
