Not really useful, but can be used for something.

Example of how it works in the forums I go to where we have this:

You type in,
Code:
[acronym=fail lol]C:[/acronym]


And it comes out as "C:" with a dotted underline. When you hover your mose over it, it shows "fail lol", the same way it shows "you" when you hover over a you tag.

The case above was a mere example, so, don't take it seriously.

Either way, it works like that. Good for some jokes, throwing indirects and, on an unusual use, explain complicated terms, which show up in places like fiction.
