Another day, another blog. Let's see how yesterday's workout proved to help me, shall we?
First of all, I have to say that Wii Fit really DOES work. When I got out of bed this morning (about 20 minutes ago), I could hardly stand up! I had to use chairs, walls, my sibling's head, whatever was there to slowly drag myself to the bathroom. My legs really do burn, and quite a lot!
Now, I didn't get much exercise done since the last update on Day 2. I just went into my bed since I was feeling depressed, ended up taking a two-hour nap, and had to cope with sore legs for the rest of the evening. I was a bit worried, personally, that I'd be really uncoordinated today. That was totally wrong.
My center of balance is now only 50.6% to the right, nearly perfect balance! My weight is resting on my heels a little too much, but that's alright.
My BMI dropped another 0.2 inches today, and my weight dropped another 1.3 pounds. I'm losing weight steadily and gaining strength rapidly, and I'm really happy about it.
As for the balance tests...I'm very, very bad at the Basic Balance Test (the one where you have to shift your weight to keep your weight in between two blue bars, such as 30-40% left and 60-70% right, and so on). I couldn't finish the activity (it has five levels, and I couldn't finish the fifth). However, I was suprised on a test that measured my single-leg balance, as I was shaking rapidly and somehow still had great balance according to the game (no, I did not cheat). My Wii Fit Age shot up one year to 16, but that's alright, it'll probably go down later.
I'm feeling much better today and, as soon as my legs feel like they can take it, I'll be exercising on Wii Fit again today. And with that, you have another Wii Fit Blog to think about when purchasing or using the game, or something to blackmail or mock me with. ^^ |

Aw...this is less popular today...guess the flame dies out after a bit...
Anyway, I did 20 minutes of training today. I unlocked something called Rhythm Boxing, which is really neat. It's like combining the Wii Sports Boxing with Basic Step (the "dancing" Wii Fit game, which I also did), and it's overall one of my favorite workout activities. The male voice hosting it is pretty deep, which is really wierd for a Mii, but it's somewhat cool.
I did more push-ups and side planks, they seem to be getting easier lately, ten reps being still somewhat difficult, but rewarding. I also did the one-two punch of the Warrior stretch for Yoga and the Lunges through muscular training. Then I finished it all off with a few rounds of that penguin balance game, getting great scores this time. ^^
Aaaaand that will be it until I get home at about 1:45 PST. |
