It would be incredibly fun if it wasn't so incredibly hard.
On the other hand, I haven't played it in a while, so it might be easier now.

Grumble Volcano. The lightning/POW Block/Golden Mushrooms force you off the edges WAY too often. I'm afraid to use Golden Mushrooms on there. |

Koopa Cape. The track design's really just "meh", and the lightning rotation-thingies can be really unpredictable and unfair.
Grumble Volcano's my 2nd favorite course in this cup, so don't *crag* with it. Multiple pathways FTW. |

Grumble Volcanoe is my least favorite course in this cup, and probably my least favorite course in the game. I like the idea of a volcanoe of a course, but I find it one of the toughest courses. I even find Rainbow Road to be much easier, than Grumble Volcanoe.
There's certain parts in this course, even with much practice, I still die. Near the beginning, when you go into the second tunnel, it sort of sways left and right. Whenever I try to do a mini-turbo, I always get thrown off onto the bottom portion of the course. The area right after that, I'm driving regularly, and suddenly one of the platforms will slow down (maybe I'm just speeding up) and I'll fall into the volcanoe.
I generally find myself, at the end, running into those large balls of fire, and I generally have a hard time steering in that area. With those troubles that I have had, I've not liked this course very much. |
