Okay, I sort of have a problem, alright?
So.
My computer froze, so I had to reboot it by holding in the button on the hard-drive, right? Yeah.
In the mean time, I went to take a nap because I felt rather tired. About an hour later, I came back on and started the computer up.
Instead of it working properly, a blue screen came up, saying there was a file that had something wrong with it. FROP.sys or something similar to that.
So, I turned my computer off once again. This happened about five times, and now it just decided to work. I don't really want it to happen again, so I don't know if it's something wrong with my computer, or if my computer may have a virus or something.
My Anti-Virus system hasn't found anything, however it does keep saying it is experiencing an error every time I sign on my Computer account.
Does anyone know what's wrong? :/ |

Well, all I can say is, if you have to delete all your data, you can live with it- I had all mine deleted twice. |

But I still have all my files. o-o; |

Sometimes, viruses can hide deep inside of the computer files (system files) and have the possibility of not being found by the computer. It seems as though, the virus has disabled your virus protection, so that you can't scan for viruses and can't delete the virus.
What I recommend doing, is put the repair disk (depends if you have Windows XP, Vista, etc), and doing a repair of your computer. If you need step by step instructions, I could provide them.
If you wish not to do that, then try your best to back up your most important files in an external hard drive (If you are willing to spend some money buy one from Western Digital) and delete everything on your internal hard drive. Start a new installation of Windows XP, or what the type of operating system you have. Then, put all the files on the external hard drive onto the internal hard drive. |
