Alright, so, everyone has arguments, right?

So, here. Maybe someone could help.

I went down to a long-time friend of mine's house, and we were there for about...Ten-fifteen minutes. We went up to her room, and she started ranting about 'How she's always right and I'm always wrong.' So I told her I had better things to do, and told her to leave me the *crag* alone. She acted like she didn't even care I was pissed, so I had her father drive me home.

And yet, I'm the one being all depressed about it.

So, tell me. Did I do the right thing, acting like I did, or did I just screw up my social life, so that I'll be the anti-social kid forever?

There is no reason for you to be depressed at all... you handled the situation better than she did, and made the right choice.

I think you did the right thing... it may be hard to accept, but, she might have tricked you. Or perhaps she was just angry from before, and unleashed it out on you. Don't let it make you depressed though. ;-;

I guess how this all started was that she felt that I was lying to her a lot. When I'm positive I wasn't at all.

Then she said I was wrong, then went into her rant.

The fact that you walked away was good, maybe your response was a little vulgar but it's understandable.
If this person has been your friend for a long time you probably feel bad because subconsciously you hope what you did didn't affect the relation you have with this person. Even if you know they started it, you should ask them why they would say this, then how it made you feel, if they still act horrible toward you calmly tell them that your sorry but you should leave if they are going to treat you like that.
