Two blogs, two days in a row! NEW RECORD! Wait, I've done it before. Never mind.
Aaanyways, special entry today. Rant tiem.
Today's rant (If you couldn't tell from the title): Music
Do NOT post just to say "omg y u no like (Insert band name here) u r nub lolol", or ANYTHING criticising me because of the examples I use, because I know someone's going to.
If you're looking for somebody who likes regular, generic North American music, I'm probably the last person you're looking for. I've always been partial to techno, whether it be light tech to the heaviest of hardstyle. And, after hardstyle... Jpop. Those would be two polar opposites.

CRAG YEAH REALLY SHORT HARDSTYLE
So, what's the rant about? The fact that I'm expected to obsess over that North American stuff that everybody else in the school obsesses over. Today, someone walks up to me in the hall. He's in a few of my classes. "Hey. Since you always have those headphones on, what kind of music do you listen to?" Great. Time to be vague again. "Just usual music."
"Green Day? Sum 41?"
"No." Grah, I actually can't stand that stuff.
"What, you don't have ANY of their songs on there?"
"No."
"Dude, what the hell? Get some decent music on there."
...
You have GOT to be kidding me. He didn't even ask for an artist name, just named off two and based everything off of those. Just because I don't like your music doesn't mean mine's bad either. Everyone has their own freakin' tastes.
So, since said person is part of one of the biggest social groups in the school, I'm even more of a reject. It's bad enough that one person actually changes his opinion of me because of music preferences, but when other people agree, that's just worse.
And now, a bit of truth. Warning: Says a word that I'd get striked for

And... Cue posts from angry mobs. |

I've never been that into any form of techno, but Pounding Senses was really good, in my opinion.
Music Nazis always annoy me to no end. I don't think they realize that as humans, we are granted the right to the pursuit of happiness. That means we should be able to listen to whatever music makes us happy... |

Closed mindness, the ill that sickens the world of music. Pah! Take it from a fellow music-lover, listen to you J-pop, and don't give two slags about the filth ridden junk. Some of their songs are okay, but musical tastes can change. Continue on, turn the volume high, and lose yourself in your music. I myself am partial to techno(Or Electronica as I call it.) Have any good suggestons. I'm always seeking new music. |

Namely for songs, Crying Soul, Flying High and Energize.
DJ Carpi's pretty good, too. |
