[Legendary Mashine]

I'm stuck with Roberto Bianchi and I've looked at tons of FAQs and they all say the same thing, but what they say doesn't appear to be in my game. o_0;

I've surveyed all the sites they marked off, and it gave me a message saying I'm finished and to go check back with the people who threw me in the hole. The FAQs say there's a "masked soldier at the beginning of the level," and I've backtracked and forwardtracked and rebacktracked all throughout the level and have not found a "masked soldier" at either end. Can anyone, like... demonstrate where he is on the map or something? Is there something else I need to do to get him to show up??
